A Magnolia

I've seen Magnolia many times. In childhood it was on the way to a badminton game, in undergrad it was on the way to the cafeteria with my classmates, and in the last two years it was on the street on the way to the studio... Its flowers were huge, and so in these moments of movement I would always catch a glimpse of the lush mass. It's always settled and standing there, a cozy anchor point in countless memories. Whenever I see one, I think 'Ah, it's a magnolia.'
